Lemonade vs Metaview

Metaview writes up interviews and sells sourcing agents. Lemonade (makelemonade.io) sources, screens and introduces interested candidates for UK roles, so the person running hiring only does the interviews.

Do I need Metaview, Lemonade, or both?

Lem, Lemonade's AI recruiter, sources, screens and introduces interested candidates for UK roles. Metaview's notetaker starts once candidates exist; its Sourcing agent is priced per user in US dollars; fillmore needs Slack and an ATS and charges an unpublished fee on hire. So Lem is an alternative to Metaview's Sourcing agent and fillmore, not to its notetaker. First search free, then a Search Fee from £450. No hire fee, on any plan. Prices correct as of 21 October 2026. The Search Fee is refunded if you don't interview any of our candidates. Or use both: Lem brings the candidates, Metaview writes up the interviews.

Choose Lemonade when

  • No recruiter or recruiting team, and the hard part is finding people worth interviewing.
  • A fixed fee per role, set by the salary, with no hire fee and no introduction window.
  • Every candidate scored against your brief with the reasoning shown, and only people who confirmed their interest reach you.
  • No Slack or ATS needed: see and steer the search in a web app.
  • The UK role needs more than five years' experience, where Lem works best.

Choose Metaview when

  • Candidates are already coming in, and you want interview notes and scorecards written for you.
  • The recruiting team works in an ATS such as Greenhouse, Ashby or Lever.
  • Running your own sourcing and email outreach suits you, with Sourcing priced per user.
  • Work happens in Slack, and a fee on hire for fillmore, which books screening calls, is acceptable.

Four differences that matter

Lem brings the candidates; Metaview's notetaker starts once they arrive

Metaview's best-known product writes up notes and scorecards inside the interview. Lem's job comes before it. Describe the role in a chat, and Lem hunts day and night across three sources: Lemonade's talent pool, people Lem sources directly (including from a people database of about a billion profiles) and applicants to your job posts (including adverts you run yourself on Indeed or LinkedIn), every one screened against your brief. The matching is built on more than a million job matches and user feedback, and gets sharper as feedback comes in. Only people who have confirmed their interest reach your shortlist. Request an intro and we can connect you in minutes, and Lem can schedule the interviews. Lem hunts. You interview. See how Lem works.

Metaview fillmore and Lem: a fee on hire, or a fixed fee up front

Metaview fillmore finds candidates, writes outreach by email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and books screening calls: the nearest thing Metaview sells to Lem. fillmore says "only pay when you hire", and its fee is not published. Lemonade publishes its price: the first search is free, then a Search Fee set by the salary, from £450 for a role paying up to £50k. There is no hire fee and no introduction window. Both show their reasoning: the fillmore page lists an audit trail of AI reasoning, and Lem scores every candidate against your brief (How Lem stays fair).

Where each runs: Slack and an ATS, or a web app

fillmore "lives entirely in slack. no web app, no dashboard, no logins", and needs Slack and an ATS. Lemonade runs in a web app that shows the live search, and you decide at each stage. A search needs neither Slack nor an ATS. Video answers to questions you set are reviewed by a person before anyone reaches you. Lem never approaches someone about a role at a company they have worked for, and nobody Lem finds is turned down by software; applicants screened out automatically are told which check said no and can ask a person at Lemonade to look again.

Metaview wins on ATS connections and interview capture

Metaview's integrations page lists a long run of ATSs, including Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, Teamtailor and Workable, and its About page says shortlists, notes and scorecards sync to your ATS. It can take notes without a bot joining the call. Lemonade has no direct ATS integration: you email a candidate's pack to your ATS inbox, or download the shortlist as Excel, CSV or an ATS-import CSV. If your team lives in its ATS, Metaview fits more neatly.

Using both

For a small team, Lem sources, screens and introduces interested candidates, so you only meet people who have confirmed their interest. Before a first interview, send yourself the candidate's pack (original CV and screening report) from Lemonade, so you go in knowing where they match your brief and where the gaps are. Run the interviews with Metaview writing up the notes. Its free plan covers 25 calls a month per user (60 across all free users in a company), with only the last 14 days visible. Once a candidate moves to in-person interviews, move them into your ATS for the offer, since Lemonade does not handle offers. The pack can go straight to your ATS inbox, or you can download the shortlist as an ATS-import CSV (How Lemonade works with your ATS).

The two do not connect directly, so nothing passes between them automatically. Nothing in Lemonade's terms stops you using other hiring tools at the same time (terms).

When Metaview is the better choice

If your problem starts after the candidates arrive, pick Metaview. It records and writes up interviews on Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Zoom, phone and in person, and maps answers into scorecards in Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday and others.

It also suits a recruiting team that wants AI across sourcing, application review, voice screening and notes, tied into its ATS, and anyone hiring outside the UK, since Lemonade covers UK roles only.

Lem works best for people with more than five years' experience, because there is more career history to match on. For junior, hourly or high-volume roles, a job board is usually the better choice, and Metaview's Application Review can help you sift the applicants a job board brings.

Questions founders ask

What is the main difference between Lemonade and Metaview?

Metaview's notetaker writes up the interviews you run, so it complements Lemonade. Its Sourcing agent and fillmore find and contact candidates, so they are alternatives to Lem. Lemonade sources, screens and introduces interested candidates for UK roles.

Is Metaview an ATS?

No. Metaview works alongside your ATS: its About page says shortlists, notes and scorecards sync to your ATS, and its integrations page lists ATSs including Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever and Workday. Lemonade does not replace your ATS either, and has no direct integration with one.

How much does Metaview cost?

As of October 2026, Metaview's Notetaker is free for 25 calls a month, or $60 per user per month for unlimited calls. The Sourcing agent is free for the first 100 profiles, then $100 or $300 per user per month. Application Review is $150 a month for 500 reviews, with unlimited users. The full platform is custom-priced; fillmore is charged on hire, fee not published. Prices in US dollars, checked 21 October 2026.

What is Metaview fillmore?

fillmore is Metaview's autonomous recruiting agent. Metaview says it finds candidates, runs personalised outreach by email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and books screening calls. It lives in Slack, needs an ATS, and is sold through a demo. Metaview says you "only pay when you hire" but does not publish the fee (checked 21 October 2026).

Can I use Metaview with Lemonade?

Yes. Lem sources, screens and introduces interested candidates, and you interview them with Metaview taking notes. The two products do not connect directly.

Who should choose Metaview instead?

Teams that already have candidates and want interview notes and scorecards; recruiting teams who want AI across their ATS; and anyone hiring outside the UK. For junior, hourly or high-volume roles, a job board is usually the better fit.
